Passport to Possibilities Gala 2026

A global journey through Egypt, Canada, Brazil, and Germany, honoring four Western New York nonprofits.

Passport to Possibility is Trusted Gives’ annual fundraising gala, inviting guests to embark on a global journey and unlock the endless potential that arises when compassionate minds and benevolent organizations unite for community betterment. The 2026 Gala showcased the theme of boundless possibilities, with rooms transformed into distinct global havens representing Egypt, Canada, Brazil, and Germany. Guests experienced an “around the world” style celebration complete with an open bar, station-style cuisine, décor, and culture drawn from each featured country, creating a dynamic atmosphere that fostered collaboration and goodwill throughout the evening.

At the Gala, Trusted Gives honored four Western New York organizations as Donation Moment recipients, making their work a central highlight of the evening.

5 Loaves Farm was recognized for its sustainable urban farming on Buffalo’s West Side, growing fresh, affordable produce to make healthy food accessible for city neighbors while running a youth program that puts young Buffalonians to work in the soil and in their community.

The Lions Club of Clarence was honored specifically in support of its Clarence Lions Inclusive Playground Project, a fully barrier-free playground planned for Clarence Town Park designed for children ages two to twelve with sensory, motor, and developmental disabilities. Funds raised through this Donation Moment went directly toward the playground itself, rather than the Lions Club’s general operations.

Buffalo Prep was celebrated for over three decades of work closing the access and opportunity gap for talented, underrepresented Western New York students, guiding scholars from fifth grade through college and beyond with rigorous academic enrichment, mentorship, and ongoing support.

Veterans One-Stop Center was recognized for serving Western New York veterans and their families under one roof, offering housing support, suicide prevention services, peer-to-peer programs, and fitness and wellness resources that help veterans build connection and stability.

Through the Donation Moment, gala guests gave directly in support of each organization’s mission, reflecting Trusted Gives’ continued commitment to amplifying the work of trusted, frontline nonprofits across our region.
